Why an AI photoshoot fails: check the request, credits and job status
Find the next step when an AI photoshoot has no result, a failed shot or a download problem. Separate technical failures from a paid creative redo.

At a glance
- Check the individual photo status before starting another generation.
- A completed photo you dislike is different from a technical failure.
- Keep the project details and exact error when asking for help.
An AI photoshoot can stop before it starts, fail on one photo, or finish with a result you dislike. Those situations need different fixes. Start with the status of the specific photo and the message beside it. Repeatedly pressing Generate can make it harder to tell which attempt you are looking at.
This guide explains AIGirlShot's current project and album workflow. It does not diagnose an individual account or promise a completion time. If your screen shows an error that does not match these cases, keep the exact wording for support.
First, identify what actually failed
| What you see | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Generation never starts | Account access, selected person, complete settings, available credits and the displayed error |
| A photo is queued or processing | Whether that attempt is still active; avoid submitting another attempt for it |
| A photo is saving | The result is still being stored; it is not yet a completed download |
| One photo needs attention | Its error message and the available retry action in Studio |
| A completed photo looks wrong | The particular visual problem and whether a paid redo is worthwhile |
| The album opens but ZIP download fails | Login, verified email and whether any photos are available to download |
Look at individual photos as well as the album. A partial set can contain usable results even when another shot needs attention.
If the request does not start
Return to the project you intended to generate. Check that the chosen person is still available and that the photo cards have the settings you want. If you use your own references, make sure the selected private person belongs to your account. Signing into a different account will not give it access to the first account's files.
Read the displayed price before trying again. AIGirlShot checks the complete series budget before starting it. If the message specifically says there were insufficient credits and no credits were charged, adding more prompts will not solve that balance issue. Use the price shown for your current plan; older screenshots and example budgets are not quotes. Our photoshoot budgeting guide explains how to leave room for optional retakes.
An instruction-length error calls for a shorter description. Keep the person, outfit, scene and shot clear, and remove repeated adjectives or conflicting directions. The prompt structure guide shows how to do that without losing the intended look.
If the message says generation is not connected, the problem is service availability. Changing your pose cannot connect a provider. Save your plan and contact support. If a provider declines a request, review it against the service's content rules. Do not keep reformulating prohibited content to bypass the refusal.
If a shot is still processing or saving
Reopen the same project or album and check its current status. A generated preview on screen is not, by itself, proof that a durable downloadable file is ready. The workflow includes a storage step before a result is marked ready.
There is no reliable universal wait time to quote here. Record when you started and whether the state changes. If the state stays unchanged and you need help, send those details to support rather than starting a duplicate series. A browser refresh and a new paid generation are different actions.
If a photo has failed
Open Studio from the album and read the failed photo's message. The current workflow supports retrying a shot separately, so a problem with one frame does not require you to discard every completed image. Check the new price and the intended photo before confirming another attempt.
Technical failure handling includes credit refunds for failed generation attempts and eligible unstarted photos when the series cannot continue. That is separate from a cash refund and separate from dissatisfaction with a completed image. If your balance or transaction history does not match the displayed outcome, ask support to check the particular attempt. Do not assume a retry is free because an earlier attempt failed.
For a creative problem, use the relevant guide: hands that need a new pose, a first portrait that does not resemble you, or choosing which photos to keep.
If downloading is the only problem
The album ZIP requires a signed-in account with a verified email. It includes available completed photos, so a partial download may contain fewer files than the planned set. Check the count before treating it as a missing-file error.
If the download is unavailable, keep the album open and record the message. Starting a new generation does not repair a download request. You can also check whether an individual completed photo downloads successfully.
Send support enough information to find the attempt
Use Contact support with the project or album identifier, the affected photo number, the approximate start time and time zone, the exact error, and whether credits changed. A cropped screenshot of the error can help. Leave private reference images, payment details and unrelated personal information out of the first message; support can ask for anything else it needs.
